What We Do During the Stargazing Program.

Our Stargazing Program takes you away from the bright city lights to remote, dark-sky locations, where you can experience the night sky in all its beauty. We combine astronomy, storytelling, observation and fun activities to create an engaging and memorable learning experience. During the program, our astronomy educators guide participants in identifying stars, constellations and prominent celestial objects visible in the night sky. We bring constellations to life through fascinating mythological stories and cultural interpretations from different civilizations, helping participants discover how people across the world have understood and connected with the stars. Using telescopes, we explore deep-sky objects such as star clusters, nebulae and galaxies, depending on the season and observing conditions. We also introduce participants to the basics of astronomy and astrophysics, explaining concepts about stars, planets, galaxies, light and the cosmos in a simple and interactive way. Throughout the night, we conduct astronomy games, interactive activities and guided observation sessions that encourage curiosity, participation and scientific thinking.
